MD/CEO
Lolu is the Managing Director of Lavayo Energy, and has over 20 years experience in the Energy industry in North America, and West Africa. Prior to his appointment as MD, Lolu was the Country Executive for GE Energy Nigeria, where he oversaw the various energy subsidiaries with annual revenue of $540 MM (FY 2011). He has also roles in management consulting with Arthur D. Little in Boston, and Accenture in Lagos; where he was an executive in the Energy practice, and in the Origination and Structuring group at Reliant Energy in Houston, where he led various M&A projects.

Dr. Ogunfowora attended the University of Oxford – Said Business School, for Executive Education on Impact Investing; and completed his doctorate and master’s degrees with focus on Impact Investing, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at The University of Manchester, UK. Olu graduated with a B.Sc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (First Class Honors) from the Obafemi Awolowo Univeristy, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and won the Faculty of Technology Prize for the Best Graduating Student.
